Roni Size & Reprazent stylised as Roni Size, Reprazent are a British drum and bass group fronted by Roni Size. Their debut album New Forms won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997. Their follow-up album In the Møde featured artists including Rahzel, Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against the Machine and Method Man. The group's music has been described as meticulously crafted break-beats that, when slowed down, revealed themselves as hip-hop beats. The most popular track, Brown Paper Bag , was praised in. Enter Roni SizeReprazents New Forms, arguably the only truly great drumnbass album. Listen to New Forms right now. Up to this point, most notable among the genres full-lengthers had been Goldies 1995 double-album, Timeless, which was critically acclaimed but, leading off with the 20-minute title track, was never going to be for everyone. Gilles Petersons Talkin Loud imprint signed them, announcing the partnership with 1996s Reasons For Sharing EP. The label had recently guided respected house producers Masters At Work into a collaboration with crack musicians in order to reclaim their disco roots for the Nuyorican Soul album. But Roni Size, Reprazent's next album, 2000's In The Mode, and a solo outing from Size, Touching Down, courted a less subtle jump-up style. It was a general trend in drum & bass seen in artists like Dillinja, whose deft mid-'90s material gave way to brutish basslines and streamlined beats at the turn of the millennium. Never heard it played more than 16 bars without the obligatory rewind and rightly so. This track is pure dancefloor genius - so simple but absolutely devastating. Roni Size doing his thing to perfection. We all went mental when this started doing the rounds!! That bassline just purrs like a panther.

I only have plate 2, I borrowed it from a mate and then they moved away before i had a chance to give it back ... Thats my story and I'm sticking to it - but I only ever used Trust Me, in fact just listened to it now and noticed there's a some kind of reprisie of Share the Fall at the end ... Its been with me over 20years and I've never listened to it all the way through :D
